About Sergei
Sergei has been turning wrenches on residential refrigeration since 2009. He cut his teeth on Whirlpool/KitchenAid as a warranty contractor, then specialized into the high-end built-in market — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador — when he moved to San Diego in 2013.
Sergei holds an EPA 608 Universal certification, which means he can legally recover, recycle, and recharge any sealed refrigeration system — not all techs in the field can. Most diagnostic visits he closes the first time with the right part on the truck.
When he is not on a service call he's helping Axis's junior techs work through compressor-replacement procedures. He speaks fluent English and Russian.
